Getting started

How do I install Biblione?

Download the app for free on the App Store (iPhone and iPad). An Android version is planned for 2026. Download link.

What do I do at first launch?

The onboarding screen asks for your first name (optional) and your reading pace:

• 1 year: about 12 minutes of reading per day, based on the official JW program
• At my own pace: choose how many portions you want to read each day

You can change your pace at any time in Settings → Program.

Daily use

How do I mark a portion as read?

On the home screen, tap the "Mark as read" button under today's card. The card locks with the message "Today's portion read. Great job, see you tomorrow!" and stays displayed until midnight (your device's local time).

How do I uncheck a chapter or redo a reading?

Go to the Program tab, tap the relevant book, then tap the chapter to uncheck it.

The "Open" button doesn't do anything

The "Open" button uses a deep link to JW Library. For it to work:

• Install the JW Library app from the App Store
• Open it at least once to accept its terms
• Return to Biblione and tap "Open"

I'm not receiving daily reminders

Check that notifications are enabled:

1. iOS Settings → Notifications → Biblione → Allow Notifications ☑
2. In Biblione: Settings → Notifications → Daily reminder enabled ☑
3. Choose the reminder time (default: 8 AM)

iCloud Sync

How do I enable sync between my devices?

iCloud sync is enabled by default. For it to work:

• Your devices (iPhone, iPad) must be signed in to the same Apple ID
• iCloud Drive must be on: iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → iCloud Drive ☑
• Biblione must be allowed to use iCloud (toggle in iOS Settings → Biblione)

Mark a reading on your iPhone, open Biblione on your iPad, your progress appears automatically (a few seconds delay).

My progress isn't syncing

Possible causes:

• No internet connection on one of the devices
• Different Apple ID on the two devices
• iCloud Drive disabled
• iCloud storage full (very rare, Biblione uses only a few KB)

Fix: fully close Biblione (swipe up in the app switcher), reopen. If the problem persists, write to us.

How do I disable iCloud sync?

Settings → iCloud → disable the toggle. Your progress will stay only on the current device.

Program & Content

Where does the reading program come from?

Biblione follows the official Bible Reading program (reference sbr-E in English) published by Jehovah's Witnesses in 2009. It is publicly available on jw.org and is faithfully reproduced in Biblione.

Why is Job in the "Writings of Moses" section?

This is the official JW program's arrangement: Job is traditionally attributed to the time of Moses, hence its placement in that section. This differs from the canonical order of the Bible.

Can I read a translation other than the NWT?

Yes. The "Open" button links to JW Library (New World Translation), but nothing stops you from using another Bible. Biblione tracks your progress regardless of what you read on.

Which platforms does Biblione support?

How many languages are supported?

10 languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Haitian Creole, Greek, Japanese. The language follows your iOS device language, changeable in Settings → Language.

Privacy & Security

What data do you collect?

None. Biblione contains no trackers, no ads, no analytics service. Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud. See the full privacy policy.

Is the app free long-term?

Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchase, no "pro" version. The app stays free and ad-free.
