Plain language summary. Biblione is free, ad-free, and lets you track your Bible reading. Use it at your own pace. We make no guarantees (no SLA, no service commitment), but we do our best to keep it working well.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading and using Biblione ("the app"), you agree to these terms of use. If you disagree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the service

Biblione is a free mobile app that helps you track daily Bible reading following the official Bible Reading program (reference sbr) published by Jehovah's Witnesses. The app provides:

Daily reading portions based on the sbr program
Chapter-by-chapter progress tracking
Reading statistics (consecutive days, chapters read, calendar)
Local daily reminders (optional)
Sync between Apple devices via iCloud (optional)
A link to JW Library to open today's portion directly

3. Independence from Jehovah's Witnesses

Biblione is an independent application, not affiliated with Jehovah's Witnesses, the Watch Tower Society, or any religious organization. The sbr reading program is an official publication of Jehovah's Witnesses:

The trademarks jw.org, JW Library, New World Translation, and Watchtower belong to their respective owners. Biblione simply makes it easier to follow the program published on jw.org without claiming these trademarks.

4. Free and ad-free

Biblione is and will remain free, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscription. No part of the experience is locked behind a paywall.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Biblione in accordance with its intended purpose. In particular, you agree not to:

Attempt to decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the app
Modify, copy, or redistribute the app without permission
Use the app for illegal activities
Attempt to compromise system integrity (injection, exploits, etc.)

6. Intellectual property

The source code of Biblione, its interfaces, graphics, and name are the property of their respective authors. The reading program followed by the app remains the intellectual property of the Watch Tower Society.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the app on your Apple devices, in accordance with the App Store terms.

7. Privacy

Your use of Biblione is governed by our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Biblione is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind (express or implied). We do not guarantee:

That the app will work without interruption
That iCloud sync will always be instant or reliable (Apple manages that infrastructure)
That your data can never be lost (make regular iPhone backups)
That external links (jw.org, JW Library) will always be accessible

In no event shall the author of Biblione be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.

9. External links

Biblione may contain links to third-party sites (jw.org, JW Library). We have no control over the content of these sites and disclaim any responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or operation.

10. App and terms updates

We reserve the right to update Biblione and these terms at any time. Major changes will be announced in the App Store release notes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.

11. Termination

You may stop using Biblione at any time by uninstalling the app. No formal process is required. Your local and iCloud data can be deleted as described in the privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the author's place of residence (Quebec, Canada). Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless a consumer protection law provides otherwise.
